Lionel 30 Operating Water Tower - Postwar

The operating water tower is a great accessory to add realism to your railroad. This one is in Like New condition. It is the variation that has the black painted trestle structure and has the double walled tank (that was also used on the #38 operating water tower) with brown Kraft paper liner. The spout mechanism works great. No rust, no cracks or breaks in the tank, roof, trestle structure or base. There are no broken rungs on the tower supports. Included are the correct #96C control button with black button and a Lionel CTC track lockon. The tower is 11" tall and the base is approximately 6" X 6-1/2". Includes a COPY of the instruction sheet.

This one includes the original interior box liner inserts but not the original box. However, the original owner was a packaging engineer. He fabricated a heavy duty box to protect the water tower. It has been stored in his box for all these years, thus the great condition.
