This car represents one of the 25 cars delivered to MUNI in 1952 and is presented in the original paint scheme featuring the 'wings' on the side. Car 1040 was the last production PCC car produced in 1952. It is still operational and participated in the opening ceremonies of the F line in September 1995. In addition, the same paint scheme is worn currently by F line car 1050, formerly Philadelphia 2122. 4500 of these miniatures were made available in 1997.
