This is the 1946 model that has the smoke bulb and "Lionel Atomic
Precision Motor". It runs, smokes and operates great. The 2020W tender
whistles fine, there is a small crack that has been glued in the tender shell at
one front corner. Both have normal play wear and are graded in excellent minus
condition.

6-8-6 model of Pennsylvania Railroad S2 steam turbine, black painted die-cast
body without E-unit slot, flat outer surface on the turbine housing, silver
rubber stamped cab number, wire handrails, thick nickel rims on all drivers,
side rod only, horizontally mounted motor with brushplate marked "Lionel
Atomic Precision Motor" with two female receptacles for E-unit jack,
3-position E-unit with jack that plugs into the brushplate (one recepticle on
brusplate locks the E-unit into forward, neutral or reverse, while the other
jack activates the E-unit for sequential, transformer controlled
forward-neutral-reverse operation), lighted with prism lens, smoke with early
smoke bulb unit.The 2020W tender features a motorized whistle, plastic shell,
magnetic coil operated rear coupler, wire handrails, metal wheels & axles,
metal chassis.
