Here is a super nice #2355 AA Western Pacific Diesel Set with original boxes and
instruction sheet. These engines are extremely clean, absolutely no
battery damage or rust and appear to have very little run time on them. The
powered unit runs like it is new! The nose decals are replacements as the
original decals had mostly flaked off as is common. The operating horn in the
non-powered unit is a replacement as the original did not operate which is also
very common. There are box rubs in the silver paint on some high spots and
corners where the orange paint slightly shows through. There is also a scratch
on the right side powered unit shell and a scratch on the left side of the
non-powered unit shell (see the pictures).
The powered unit box, marked 2355P, is a brick. It has clear tape on one end
holding the flaps closed and the remains of clear tape on the other end. No
damage. The non-powered unit box, marked 2355T, is in good condition with some
wear. Missing one inside flap from one end and one inside flap is taped on with
clear tape on the other end.
The original instruction sheet is in like new condition, no rips or tears. It
is 4-pages. Marked on the last page is "Form No.
2353-53--4-53--TT"
Overall, these are incredible examples of one of the hardest to find Postwar
