On May 10th, 1869, simultaneous with the driving of the gold spike at
Promontory Summit, Utah, the Union Pacific Railroad inaugurated the first
service from Omaha to San Francisco uniting the country from east to west.
This engine re-creates the massive Berkshire steam engine for the Famous
American Railroad series #2.

This engine is in like new condition. One of the connectors for the tether
wires that go between the loco and the tender has been replaced. We have track
tested it to make sure that it is in proper operating condition. Includes the
paperwork, instructions, original box and Styrofoam insert.
