Payments-Money Orders, Personal Checks
Payments for non-credit card purchases (money orders and
personal checks) are due within 7-days from the order date. Checks and money orders must be made payable to GRAHAM PELLE. Items ordered will
be placed on hold for 7-days pending receipt of payment. Graham's Trains
reserves the right to make available for sale to other customers, items for
which the payment is overdue. If you know that your payment is going to be late,
please e-mail us and let us know and we will continue to hold your item(s).
Graham's Trains mailing address for payment is on your invoice that you received
when placing your order or see the Contact Us page.
Payments-Credit Cards
Graham's Trains accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. All credit card purchases can be made directly online from our web site. If you cannot enter your credit card and shipping information yourself, contact us at the phone number listed on the Contact Us page and we can enter your order and payment details. For security reasons, do not e-mail credit card numbers.
Shipping
Items will be shipped within 3 business days of receiving payment by money order or verification of payment by PayPal. Items that are paid for with personal checks will be shipped after the 14 day hold period for the check to clear. Items that
are paid for by e-check will be shipped within 3 days of notification that the
e-check has cleared. Insurance is mandatory for all shipments and is included in the shipping cost. Most all items will be shipped by UPS which requires an actual street address. UPS will not deliver to P.O. boxes. We do not ship internationally, only to the USA. When your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail from UPS with the UPS tracking number and estimated delivery date. In the event that the shopping cart system incorrectly
charges for shipping or product cost, we reserve the right to request additional payment if
necessary. Graham's Trains reserves the right to ship by alternate shipping
carriers at our own discretion.
Guarantee & Return Policy
All items are guaranteed unless they are sold "AS IS". If you are not satisfied, your purchase price, less S/H/I, will be refunded with no questions asked if the item is returned and received back in the original condition within 10 days after you received it. Opened items that were shipped in a SEALED package will be charged a 30% return fee as opening the SEALED package greatly reduces the value. Brand new, never run trains that are returned having been run are also subject to a return fee to be determined at the time of return.
As paper items such as catalogs and instruction sheets are easily reproduced or
copied, they are non-returnable and non-refundable. Requests to return items must be made within 3 days of receiving the item. Items sold at less than the prices listed are not eligible for the guarantee or return. This policy only applies to U.S. Domestic ship to addresses.
Layaway Plan
For
purchases of $500 (not including shipping) or more, our layaway plan is
available for no extra charge. That's right, we won't charge you any interest or
any service fee! The 1st payment must be at least 33% of the purchase price with
the balance being paid off within 60 days of the original order date. Payments
must be made every 30 days for at least 50% of the balance. Please
keep in mind that this is not a way to "hold" an item while you make a
decision if you want it or not. If you change your mind after the first payment
is received, no money will be refunded. So,
make sure you are going to pay for the item in full before you request the
layaway plan. Item(s) will be shipped after the final payment has been received.
You may use personal checks or money orders to make payments for a layaway item.
