This Scale EP-5 is the most detailed Electric Locomotive ever made. This
model is based on the ten EP-5s produced for the New Haven Railroad in the
1950s. Known for its flashy McGuiness paint scheme, these engines are a favorite
of Northeastern Railfans. Built from brand new tooling, this new model updates a
postwar classic to current levels of expectation. Dual motors with flywheels
provides smooth operation and eliminates harsh starts and stops. Details include
directional lighting and illuminated number boards. The pantographs on the roof
can be wired to accept power from an overhead catenary system.

This engine has been lightly run. There are no cracks, scratches or defects
in the shell. The only thing we see is that on one truck, there is a tiny protrusion
right behind the wheel that is missing. This is barely noticeable and the only
reason that we are rating it as excellent condition. Otherwise it would rate as
like new. We have thoroughly track tested the engine and all functions and
features work properly. Includes the instructions, original box and packing
insert.
