Lionel 249E 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive & 265W Tender Gunmetal - Prewar O-Gauge

Here is a very nice 249E and 265W from 1936-1939. The engine and tender run great and the tender whistles loudly. There is a bit of wear and a few scratches on the engine but no rust or major defects. The smaller of the 2-domes on the top of the boiler has a slight dent. All of the separately applied details such as railings and piping are there and nothing is missing. This is an all metal engine & tender, no plastic. The tender is in super condition with almost no wear. The loco features an illuminated headlight and front marker lights. This is a great set for the shelf or to run!
