Lionel 6-12713 #145 Automatic Operating Gateman

This is a modern version of the Lionel #145 postwar automatic gateman. When a train approaches the gateman emerges from his shanty to warn motorists of the oncoming train. It uses a track contactor but will also work with an insulated track section, which is sold separately. It comes fully assembled and ready to go. It measures 7 inches x 5 3/4 inches x 4 3/4 inches. For O-gauge trains.

Excellent condition in the box, complete with all parts and instructions. This would rate Like New but there is a small scratch/nick in the paint on the front edge of the base. We have tested it and it works properly.
