This classic Lionel accessory has all the terrific action and traditional quality of the 1940-50 original. The illuminated bascule bridge is made of die-cast metal and stamped steel construction and features a powerful DC motor for years of reliable operation. The bascule bridge can be placed in any O or O-27 three-rail layout, using the frame provided and is designed to operate at 12-18 volts AC current.

This beauty is New/Mint and has never been used. It includes all the parts and instructions. Comes in the original box. Ships in a very large box.

The Bascule bridge is designed to be compatible with traditional tubular O-gauge or O-27 gauge track, however it easily works with Lionel FasTrack too. All you will need to do is to obtain 2-sections of Lionel Fastrack transition to O-Gauge track sections. This is Lionel stock number 6-12040. You will also need 2 - 4 sections of traditional tubular O-Gauge 10" Straight track. These will be used to transition from the FasTrack to the traditional track so that it can meet up with the ends of the bridge. The bridge itself has the track rails built in so you don't lay track across the bridge.
