Another new feature of ProtoSound 3.0 is that it no longer has an internal battery. It features a capacitor that charges automatically. When operating in conventional mode, there will be a slight delay before the engine responds when first putting power to the track while the capacitor charges. No need to replace or charge batteries any more with ProtoSound 3.0.
