Lionel 6-28025 (6-28023) Pennsylvania K4 4-6-2 Steam Engine with TMCC

For many years, Pennsy's K4, number 1361, stood majestically adorning Horseshoe Curve outside of Altoona, Pennsylvania.

This great steamer originally was the traditional version (6-28025) but was upgraded to TMCC (6-28023) by the original owner. The engine came from the factory as TMCC upgradeable so all the switches needed for TMCC were already there and the instructions for the upgrade are included in the instruction manual for this engine. The engine has barely been run, most likely just test run. There is no damage or defects. We have tested it and all features work and it runs properly. Includes the box, Styrofoam packing insert, and a reprinted copy of the instructions from Lionel's web site. We would suggest only running this engine in Command mode as the sounds do not function at voltage less than 9 volts. This is common for these upgrades.
