Lionel 6-11735 New York Central Flyer Ready-To-Run Steam Freight Set

An all time Lionel favorite! The New York Central Flyer Freight set has value, features, and plenty of railroading excitement. Start with the rugged #8632 4-4-2 steam locomotive. Its die-cast metal boiler is packed with a long-life drive system, brilliant headlight, real smoke generator and traction tires for enhanced pulling power. Its tender features a Lionel air whistle for classic, haunting tones on demand. Freight cars include a 9700 New Haven boxcar, 6424 New York Central bulkhead flatcar with stakes, and a 6257 NYC caboose. All cars have magnetic couplers, metal wheels and axles. Includes a 3amp, 40 watt power pack and controller with direction control and whistle buttons. Comes with lots of accessories including grade crossings, Die-cast tractor-trailer, and freight loads. We have even added additional sets of telephone poles and railroad signs that were not originally included with this set. The 27" X 63" track layout consists of 8-sections of curved track and 8-sections of straight track.

This ready-to run set is in like new condition. All original components are included (plus some extras). Everything works and runs properly and there is no damage or defects. Includes the set box (shows some shelf wear), interior packing and instructions.
