Lionel 257 Freight Station with Diesel Horn - Postwar

This Freight Station is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or breaks and very little play wear. The signs that hang on the fence are all originals. One of the little points that stick up on the top of the fence is missing. The diesel horn works but will not blow using a 1.5 volt "D" cell as designed. You will need to power it with a DC power pack where you can raise the voltage a bit. The best thing to use is a DC power pack from a small or HO train set. This station also has a lighted interior. The base measures 15" X 5". For O-Gauge trains.
